The TARDIS on tour: 2012

Over the last few days, there have been numerous sightings of the TARDIS appearing at various locations around the country, here in the UK.  Something must be up.

There’s an event going on, I know very little about it other than its name, Crash of the Elysium.  I have a feeling that it’s some kind of immersive, interactive play and it’s fully endorsed by the BBC.  I could go looking for further information for you, but to be honest, I can’t be bothered.

Anyway, as usual, I’ve been out robbing the interweb for pictures again, the big scoundrel that I am, so here goes.  Here’s two so far.  If the originator sees this and wishes me to remove them, please do pipe up.

Looking good out there.

If I find any more images of it at different locations, I’ll try to include those too at a later date.  I know it was down in London the other day and it’s off somewhere else today, so hopefully more images will surface soon.

Let’s play a game of “Where’s the TARDIS?” then, shall we?  Keep ‘em peeled.

I wonder who cast that TARDIS up…

UPDATE:  26th April, 2012.

Here she is again.  Turned up this time on the windy Ipswich Docks.  Doesn’t she look wonderful?

UPDATE:  27th April, 2012

An interesting way to advertise the TARDIS’ trips around town!

Colchester Castle.

Ipswich Football Stadium.

Even the Doctor can’t avoid a parking ticket.  But will he pay up?  Doubt it.

Causing a stir, and quite possibly a security alert, in London at Liverpool Street Station.

Sitting pretty on the beach at Alderburgh.  Where-ever that is.

  3. The play was originally done last year as Gene mentioned. There is a new play happening in London now. It’s being done in the same manner but I think it will be slightly different.

  4. Funny didn’t hear anything about this at all, will have to go, I mean take my little one to see it. Who cast up the prop? Amnesia is a dreadful thing eh ;)

  5. I sort of half remember that this was done before, but I never took much interest in it. This time however, the show is on up in Ipswich somewhere.

As I said, I don’t really know the details, but there is a website for it, so I’m told.

And Lee, yes, amnesia is a curse.
